This policy explains how BookMedTrip ("BookMedTrip", "we") handles your personal data when you use bookmedtrip.com and our services. We process personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable law.
What we collect
- Contact details: name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, country and city.
- Health information you choose to share: your condition, treatment area, questions, and the medical reports you send through our secure link.
- Travel details: travel dates, companions, and the travel help you ask for.
- Payment records: amount, currency, date and payment reference. Card details are handled by Razorpay; we never receive or store them.
- Technical data: your browser type and the page that referred you, used to keep the site working and secure.
How we use it
- To arrange your specialist consultation and, if you go ahead, your treatment, travel and stay.
- To contact you about your request by email, phone or WhatsApp.
- To process payments and keep records required by law.
- To protect the website from spam and misuse.
We do not sell your data and we do not use your health information for advertising.
Who we share it with
- The doctors and hospitals reviewing your case, only with your consent and only what they need.
- Travel providers (airlines, hotels, transport) for the bookings you ask us to make.
- Service providers that run our website and payments, including Cloudflare (hosting and database) and Razorpay (payments).
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
Consent and your rights
You give consent when you submit a form. You can withdraw it at any time by contacting us; this won't affect anything already done with your consent. You can ask us to access, correct or erase your personal data, and to name someone to act for you. Some records, such as payment records, may need to be kept for legal reasons.
How long we keep it
We keep your data only as long as needed for your request and any follow-up care, and for the periods required by tax and other laws. Then we delete it.
Security
Our website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Data is stored with access limited to our care team. Please send medical reports only through the secure link we email you, not as ordinary email attachments.

For privacy questions or complaints, contact our grievance officer, our privacy team, at the email address on our Contact page. We'll respond as quickly as we can. If you're not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
